CONCEPT

Film Factory is a reality TV show that brings together aspiring/professional filmmakers from diverse backgrounds to compete and create exceptional films. The show is set in a shared film production space, where contestants live in an isolated place together, work, and collaborate to produce high-quality films within a limited timeframe.

OBJECTIVE

The primary objective of Film Factory is to:

Discover and nurture new filmmaking talent in Nigeria and Africa.

Provide a platform for emerging filmmakers to showcase their skills and creativity to the world

 

Produce high-quality, engaging films that resonate with audiences.

 

Foster collaboration, innovation, and healthy competition among contestants.

 

Focus

The show focuses on the following key areas

Contestants participate in workshops, masterclasses, and challenges that test their filmmaking skills, including scriptwriting, directing, editing, and cinematography.

Contestants work in teams to produce films, promoting collaboration, communication, and problem-solving.

Contestants are encouraged to think outside the box, experiment with new ideas, and push the boundaries of storytelling.

Industry experts provide guidance, mentorship, and constructive feedback to help contestants improve their craft.

EPISODE STRUCTURE:​

Each episode features a new challenge, workshop, or filmmaking task. Contestants work individually or in teams to complete the task, and their work is reviewed by a Thier Camp Judge or The Voice which are industry experts. Eliminations occur regularly, and the last contestant standing wins a Grand prize.
